OBSTACLE 1: WALL STREET
BY LAB SERIES FOR MEN

Scale up and down a 2.6m high container.


Your task:
  1. Get up and over the container with the help of a 3ft high step board in the front for your ascent, and a 4ft high step board for your descent.
  2. If you are unsuccessful in your first attempt, you are required to make another attempt at the RETRY queue. If you fail in your re-attempt, 5 minutes will be added to your final timing as a penalty, and you will be allowed to continue with the course.

OBSTACLE 2: CORPORATE LADDER

Ascend and descend eight long flights of steps.


Your task:
  1. Run up and down eight flights of steps (over 800 steps in all) at the viewing gallery of The Float @ Marina Bay.
  2. If you encounter participants in the right lane (aka the "fast lane") who are moving at a slower pace, please call out, "On your right." All participants are required to move to the left when they hear this.

OBSTACLE 3: QUANTUM LEAP
BY AQUARIUS

Hoist yourself over 5 sets of 1.3m horizontal beams.


Your task:
  1. Using your upper body strength, hoist yourself over the 5 sets of horizontal beams, which are 1.3m high.
  2. If you are unsuccessful in your first attempt, you are required to make another attempt at the RETRY queue. If you fail in your re-attempt, 5 minutes will be added to your final timing as a penalty, and you will be allowed to continue with the course.

OBSTACLE 4: THE NETWORK
BY MINI

Climb up and down a 3.2m high 3-ton truck using a rope web.


Your task:
  1. Get on all fours to climb up the rope web.
  2. When you get to the top of the truck, turn around and descend the rope web on the other side feet first.
  3. Avoid getting your limbs trapped in the net as it will slow down your progress.

OBSTACLE 5: WORKLOAD
BY MAXINUTRITION

Carry a 20kg sandbag and run 100m.


Your task:
  1. Pick up a wet 20kg sandbag from the water trough.
  2. Carry it and run a distance of 50m forward and 50m back to your start point.
  3. Place the sandbag back into the water trough.
  4. If you are unsuccessful in attempting the obstacle, 5 minutes will be added to your final timing as a penalty and you will be allowed to continue with the course.

OBSTACLE 6: MONKEY BUSINESS
BY TRUE FITNESS

Swing your way upslope on a set of monkey bars.


Your task:
  1. Make your way across the 5m length of the set of monkey bars, which is placed on an upward incline, and get to the end of the obstacle without letting your feet touch the ground.
  2. If you are unsuccessful in your first attempt, you are required to make another attempt at the RETRY queue. If you fail in your re-attempt, 5 minutes will be added to your final timing as a penalty, and you will be allowed to continue with the course.

OBSTACLE 7: MIND MAP

Navigate your way through a course without touching the ground.

Your task:

  1. Navigate your way through a 15m-long course, without stepping on the ground.
  2. Step on objects of different heights, shapes and sizes, such as wooden crates, planks, truck tyres and cable drums.
  3. If you are unsuccessful in your first attempt, you are required to make another attempt at the RETRY queue

OBSTACLE 8: LATERAL MOVE
BY ADIDAS

Power through two sets of parallel bars.

Your task:

  1. Make your way across a pair of 6m-long parallel bars using your hands.
  2. Manoeuvre down a second set of parallel bars, with your hands on one bar and feet on the other.
  3. If you are unsuccessful in your first attempt, you are required to make another attempt at the RETRY queue. If you fail in your re-attempt, 5 minutes will be added to your final timing as a penalty, and you will be allowed to continue on with the course.

OBSTACLE 9: DOWN & DIRTY
BY XPERIA, SONY SMARTPHONE

Conquer an ice-cold mud pool near the end point.

Your task:

  1. Climb into a tankful of icy and muddy water. Splash your way through the length of the tank in the waist-high (1m) water.
  2. Do keep your footwear on throughout this obstacle for safety reasons. (Best not to wear spanking new shoes!)
  3. Finish your race in a blaze of glory!
